Fred Phelps is the infamous homophobe whose Westboro Baptist Church protests at funerals for veterans. His homophobic flock marches around displaying signs with some of the most outrageous messages ever displayed in public. Fred Phelps even has a website called "GODhatesfags.com".
Phelps's followers frequently picket various events, such as military funerals, gay pride gatherings, high-profile political gatherings, university commencement ceremonies, performances of The Laramie Project, mainstream Christian gatherings and concerts with which he had no affiliation, arguing it is their sacred duty to warn others of God's anger.
The entire Westboro congregation picketed a 1997 inaugural ball, denouncing Vice President Al Gore as a "famous fag pimp". In 1998, Westboro picketed the funeral of Gore's father, screaming vulgarities at Gore and telling him, "your dad's in Hell".
Phelps believes that President Barack Obama is the Antichrist and that he will form an Unholy Trinity with the Catholic Church and Satan.
People targeted by Fred Phelps
Since the early 1990s, Phelps has targeted several individuals and groups in the public eye for criticism by the Westboro Baptist Church.Prominent examples include President Ronald Reagan, Princess Diana, Supreme Court Chief Justice William Rehnquist, National Football League star Reggie White, Sonny Bono, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, atheists, Muslims, murdered college student Matthew Shepard, the late children's television host Fred Rogers, the late Australian actor Heath Ledger, Comedy Central's Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert, political commentator Bill O'Reilly, Jews, Catholics, Australians, Swedes, the Irish and US soldiers killed in Iraq. He has also targeted the Joseph Estabrook Elementary School in Lexington, Massachusetts, center of the David Parker controversy. In 2006, they planned a protest at the funeral for the murdered children of the West Nickel Mines School, but called it off, opting to spread their messages on a local radio station instead. In 2007 he stated that he would target the late Jerry Falwell's funeral.
But recently, Fred Phelps had a life changing experience. Fred met a gorgeous young well endowed blond named Busty Mann. She managed to seduce Phelps. After performing oral sex on Fred she did a slow strip tease. She showed off her huge enhanced breasts and then dropped her skirt. Fred immediately recoiled when he noticed a huge anaconda bulging from her panties. Fred shouted, "What the hell is that?"
Busty said, "Here let me show you!" Phelps passed out when he saw it. When he woke up Busty was on top of him and he felt like a teenage girl losing her virginity. That's when Fred realized that this was the hottest sex he had ever experienced. He relaxed and finally gave in to his repressed latent homosexual tendencies. And he loved it.
Fred decided to call a press conference to discuss his experience. He said as a heterosexual he used to have sex once or twice a month and he never really got turned on. He said since he's been having homosexual sex, he's been having sex once or twice an hour and that it is much hotter than traditional heterosexual sex. Phelps claims that the increase in the frequency of sex and the heat generated by the homosexual orgies he's been enjoying must be contributing to Global Warming. He now says God wants Global Warming to raise temperatures enough for people to stay naked year-round. Phelps said he is changing the name of his website to "GODdatesfags.com". He also announced that the Westboro Baptist Church will re-locate to San Francisco.
Phelps said the WBC will now begin picketing in favor of gay marriage. He said he will not be available for interviews because sitting has become painful and he fears he will get stuck to the chair. So this man who used to be such a major pain in the ass, now suffers from pain in the ass.
